I believe that the only way to salvation is through faith and accepted belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of God's only son, Jesus Christ. That there is no other way, or no other name under Heaven in which man can be saved. That obedience to law or any works of self righteousness can't do it. That Jesus was the sacrificial lamb of God without spot or blemish, and that He only had to suffer once, for all. That He bore the punishment of the world's sin debt on the cross and it was a "finished" work that completed salvation. That salvation is the greatest gift a person can receive and therefore this must be my focus and not doctrine, for doctrine is the work of the Holy Spirit to teach you all things, and to fill you with all the fullness of God.
The lost are not just in the highways and byways but are in our churches, deceived that some service they do in the church is sufficient for the pardon of sin. I believe in change and that the fruit of the Spirit is the evidence of salvation, because even the devils believe and tremble. That we are saved for works not by works. I believe that the reason why the whole world is not saved is because the laborers are still few. I believe that prophesy tells us that the church will be in moral recession. That it will be as the day of Noah and Sodom, that they will not stand for sound doctrine that, the love of many will wax cold, that the church will be lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, and He says, "if you love me, keep my commandments". He asked this question, "When I come will I find faith?" I feel that "many will cry Lord, Lord..." So here is our mission field.
What I feel About the Bible
The Bible reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. It's doctrines are holy, it's precepts are binding, it's histories are true, and it's decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the travelers map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Here, too, heaven is opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is it's grand subject, our good it's design, and the glory of God it's end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor, and condemn all who trifle with it's sacred contents. Owned, it is riches; studied, it is wisdom; trusted, it is salvation; loved, it is character; and obeyed, it is power.
